Not only did the Motown legends roll out their hits in an evening reception, but the Four Tops and The Shirelles sang at an afternoon ``sock hop'' with Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott as host. Even Dick Clark was persuaded to return to the city where he started ``American Bandstand.''
